Getting There

Bad Homburg is well connected to Frankfurt by S-Bahn (S5) and U-Bahn (U2 to Gonzenheim). Many hiking trails start directly at the stations. Free parking is available at the Saalburg Roman Fort, at Hohemark and of course at our golf course.

Best Time of Year

The Taunus is a rewarding hiking destination all year round. In spring the fruit trees blossom, in summer the forests provide shade, autumn enchants with colours and in winter the snowy landscape has its own charm. Our terrace is open from April to October.

Equipment

For most trails, good hiking shoes and weatherproof clothing are sufficient. Bring plenty of water – or plan a stop at our restaurant.
